Our first match was in Tampines Sports Hall. A chill ran down to my spine. Before the match, we did some drills such as simple drible, wrist shot, keeper warm up and so forth. The atmosphere surrounding was amazing with crowd cheering miraculously. On the other light, it's our rival, SIM University. Their team players had exceptional body muscles and strength who eventually look gullible.
This first period had began. All our players kept subsituting to maintain our stamina, preciseness and strength. By the way, our coach, Vague was exuberant and assertive in his mind, giving us physically and mentally support. We tried to push ourselves to the limit througout the match.
In the midst of playing, it was a calamity. Most of the players started to ramp each other, pushing one another out of the court. The whole court was dishevelled. There were also many misleading fouls, causing confusion to the referees. My ankle was cut by the stick which bleed for a while. It was a harsh attack. The pain was dreadful, trying to stay imperturbale and get back to my position.
At the end of the match, we lost to SIM University by 2-5. Nevertheless, we learnt from our experience and exhibit a better game. Never put ourselves in a complacent state. We still need to accept it as a commemoration and acheive our dream.
